my local Strat game has all Factions scrambling,I happen to run the RA and seem to be on the up swing compared to the others,we have 2 GM's that work the group and the RA has been kickin' it.So the Gaps have been filling in nice,just have to keep our new prodjects away from our foes,,,,,A great Ex, is the HUC (Heads up Canopy)our SciCaste just discovered.The HUD is still where you'd find it,,,,but the Canopy itself now funtions just the same with better results.Thus solving the age'ol problem of pilots having their heads on a swivel,helping them track,target and disply "where" you would see it "looking" through the Canopy.Add a lil'fluff and some action around the story and "BAMM",1 gap filled.More on the way

If you are asking about the warships, they are noted that some of them are being brought out of mothballs in one of the novels, I don't know which one though, as I don't have it. Thanks, that was indeed what I wondered about. So far, I've collected 20 of the DA novels, but I haven't read anything about Warships coming out of the mothballs. I'll keep you updated. |

Thanks, that was indeed what I wondered about. So far, I've collected 20 of the DA novels, but I haven't read anything about Warships coming out of the mothballs. I'll keep you updated. The Raven warships being pulled out of mothballs is mentioned in one of the Dark Age site's PDA entries (can't remember which offhand). They can be downloaded in pdf form from the main Battletech page. Found it. Evan Kaiple's March entry. |

learn something new every day,,,didnt know there was 20 DA novels "ever" made,,,,lol.but what does a 3135 entry have to do with a 3250 time jump?if it's Raven domination,I'm in.Also where in canon does it say that their being "put-in" mothballs,,,yes,yes we all know thats what ends up happening,but when did/does it start?How many was put-up?Did our secret shipyard(thats churning out warships as we speek)get discovered?LOL had to drop a funny in there.

No information yet on exactly when they're mothballed.
And there were 31 DA books, once you include 'A Bonfire of Worlds.'

And I thought I had a slug of BT novels,,,
Looking at the FM:85 time line in the back I'd have to say "after"3100,or round abouts.But we know there starting to be back in service after 3135,so it wasnt long.

Yeah, '85 had a lot of updates. Reading thru the WoR book was so enlightening because they went back and retold the stories of the Jihad with good intel  I remember talking to someone who runs our local game store, but has great knowledge about what's going on in B-tech. He told me about half a year ago that the Dark Ages stuff does not have to be taken as Cannon, although from what I've seen, they seem to be honoring it. I remember the post on the Dark Age forum about "Unmothballing" the fleet and I agree, after the deal with Stone, it would have made sense. It was also a great threat to add to the Chaos. Anywho, We still have some threatening ships left even if we're out of Battleships. |
